Dear Fall,
Please come soon. We've missed you. We've got our house ready for you. We've got plans started for your party. Hockey season is under way and this Friday I'll be headed to my first game of many this season. So if you could just hurry yourself along and get here. We would love to stop watering our lawn and turn off our swamp cooler.
We felt you all week while in Lake Tahoe and we really aren't that far away from there. We miss wearing our fleece jackets and feeling you in the air. So if you could hurry it up a bit that would be great. We'll be waiting right here ready to bundle up and take the pups for a walk, to make our hot chocolate, to rake up all the leaves and to curl up on the couch with a good book.
